Some customers may comment on one or more of the following:
  • A visible coolant leak or a low coolant level at the overflow reservoir.
  • The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated in the Driver Information Center (DIC).

Technicians may find one or more of the following:
  • Coolant leaking from the upper radiator inlet hose connection.
  • DTC P3075 (Engine Coolant Flow Too Low) stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM).
Note: In some cases, the condition may be accompanied by DTC P3075.
Note: If DTC P3075 is present without evidence of a coolant leak at radiator inlet hose, follow the appropriate Service Information diagnostics.

The condition may be caused by coolant leakage at the upper Radiator Outlet Pipe Seal Replacement (Radiator Inlet Hose) quick-connect fitting due to a degraded inlet hose seal.
