Condition: Some customers may comment on a squeak or rattle type noise originating from the Headlining Trim Panel. Some technicians may find there are retainer clips that are missing and/or not properly installed.
Cause: The cause of this condition are headlining trim panel retainers without the proper retention or a material compatibility issue.
Correction: Do not replace the headliner. Replace the current headlining trim panel retainers with the updated design parts. Refer to the procedure outlined below.
