Today, GM has released an updated Service Update regarding the Electronic Control Module on some 2024 Colorados, not properly regulating fuel injector flow rate.
Condition: Certain vehicles listed above may have a condition in which the Engine Control Module (ECM) does not
sufficiently control fuel injector flow rate under certain driving conditions.
Correction: Dealers are to reprogram the ECM.
This service update includes vehicles in dealer inventory and customer vehicles that return to the dealership for any reason. This program is in effect until March 31, 2040.
